Chinese tech firm **Baidu** and global ride-hailing company **Uber** have teamed up with the **Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai** to introduce **Apollo Go**, a fully autonomous ride-hailing service, on the **Uber app** in the emirate. The service is expected to start in the coming month at select locations in the **Jumeirah** area and will expand citywide as operations and regulations allow. Riders will be able to choose autonomous trips through Uber Comfort, UberX or a dedicated “Autonomous” option. The move supports Dubai’s goal to have 25 % of trips autonomous by 2030 and underscores the city’s push into future mobility.
